It uses the GPS function of a paired smartphone to adjust distance measurements. This allows the watch to measure running distance more accurately, even if it's not connected to your phone. Equipped with auto lap, the watch also automatically tracks your running pace and how many times you have run a set distance. Access a dedicated app with graphs to help you view your personal records, and easily manage life log data and activity history. Set the watch to vibrate and alert you to elapsed time, calories burned and other milestones during your workout, and never miss a phone call, email or social media notification.
The display features a high-resolution Memory Pixel Memory (MIP) LCD and super-illuminator. Together with the auto light function, which automatically turns on the light by simply tilting your wrist during a run, the GBD-300 ensures visibility even at night.
Thanks to a shock-resistant construction in which the case is sandwiched between the front bezel and a rear bumper bezel, the GBD-300 has the slimmest profile of any G-SQUAD. Made of soft urethane, the strap offers an even more comfortable fit with holes located at 5mm intervals, for a slimmer fit that accommodates a variety of wrist sizes. Soft urethane and a thin flexible resin coating on the underside allow for intense arm movements in comfort.
The main components of the case, strap and other components are made from bio-based resin, a material that is expected to help reduce environmental impact.
