Relive the spirit of the origins with the colours that marked an era:
G-SHOCK red: the passion to overcome any challenge.
Blue: exceptional water resistance.
Yellow: the iconic shock resistance.
Each colour has been precisely reproduced to keep the essence of the original model intact.
The process of creating the stainless steel bezel combines tradition and technology: meticulous forging, cutting and polishing to achieve a unique piece. The upper surface features an elegant satin finish, while the bevelled edges shine with a mirror polish that enhances its sophisticated character.
To transfer the legendary resistance of the G-SHOCK to this metal version, innovations such as thin resin shock-absorbing pieces between the bezel and case were incorporated, as well as a three-pronged tab that dissipates impacts to the fixing tubes. As in the original model, the case includes a screw-down closure that ensures total water resistance.
The metal strap also pays tribute to the past: its links reproduce the indentations of the resin strap of the first G-SHOCK. And as a seal of authenticity, this model is born in the Yamagata Casio plant, the mother factory where the first G-SHOCK was conceived.
